Dublin Diaries – English, Accents & Adventure

What do you get when you mix 23 students of 6GH, a bunch of host families, and the bustling streets of Dublin? One unforgettable language trip!

From the moment we landed, it was English all day, every day – in class, at home, and even while navigating the famously “creative” Dublin traffic.

Mornings were spent in language classes, sharpening students‘ skills, while afternoons brought the city to life. From the grassy calm of Trinity College to the grand architecture of other famous Dublin sights, history was never far away.

But Dublin isn’t only old stones – it’s buzzing with energy. The group wandered through the Docklands and stood before the sleek headquarters of global tech giants. Beyond the city, a train ride led to scenic Bray and cliff walks in windy Howth.

We came home with stronger English, a better ear for the Irish accent, and a healthy sense of independence. Travelling has also made our students grow in confidence and curiosity. This wasn’t just a trip. It was a glimpse of the world beyond school walls – and a step into it.
